Established more than a century ago in 1914, Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business is internationally recognized, teaching more than 2,500 students invaluable business skills through its various programs worldwide. The Freeman School is comprised of two buildings: Goldring/Woldenberg Hall I and Goldring/Woldenberg Hall II. A team of planning, design, and construction professionals recently came together and added an extra 42,000 square feet to the school, linking the two buildings together. The renovation was completed in March of 2018 and won an award of merit from AIA Connecticut in late 2019.

About the Tulane University Alumni Admission Programs

Geoff Block is an experienced investment manager who formerly held executive roles at Crown Growth Partners before establishing RLB Squared in 2013. As the firm’s manager, he is in charge of all day-to-day operations and the firm’s investment portfolio, including hedge funds and real estate initiatives. A business alumnus of Tulane University, Geoff Block is still involved with the university as a member of the Tulane Alumni Association.

Underpinning the success of the Tulane Alumni Association is the consistent dedication of alumni and staff to building a long-standing relationship with one another and also promoting the vision of the university. The Alumni Admission Program is one of the several programs established with that aim.

Tulane’s Alumni Admission Programs offers a full spectrum of resources that keep alumni families abreast with information pertinent to admission programs and protocols. The need for the program was spawned by the increasing complexity and changes in admission protocols. Tulane’s Alumni Admission Program is directed by Valerie Calenda, an alumna of the institution who draws on two decades of experience working with the Office of Admission at the university. Aware of the challenges faced by alumni families looking to enroll students in the university, Calenda sees the prime need to communicate ongoing modalities and changes regarding admission to these families to guide them in this endeavor.

The admission program also features an online community called “Parent Connection.” Through Parent Connection, admission information (including reminders) is disseminated to parents. Alumni who are looking to join the program can fill out a legacy disclosure form online at Aumni.tulane.edu/s/1586/Alumni/16/interior.aspx?sid=1586&gid=3&pgid=10572&cid=24379
