Leveraging his years of experience working on Wall Street, Geoffrey “Geoff” J. Block and his wife established RLB Squared LLC in 2013. RLB Sqaured LLC is an investment firm with a large portfolio of real estate ventures and hedge funds. Geoff Block loves to travel, and one of his favorite vacation destinations is St. Barts.

St. Barts, officially known as Saint Barthélemy, is a small island nation located in the Caribbean. The island has an area of 9.26 square miles and is the home of nearly 10,000 predominantly French-speaking people. St. Barts has beautiful beaches with clear waters, coral reefs, and many other tourist spots that visitors should not miss. Here are some of them.

1. Located on the southern coast of St. Barts, the Saline Beach is one of the most beautiful stretches of sea and sand in St. Barts and the entire Caribbean. Its crystal clear waters are aesthetically displayed in shades of turquoise, teal, and cobalt blue. Its fine sand is excellent for sunbathing. Surfers can ride on big waves here when the wind is up.

2. The St. Jean Beach is a crescent-shaped white beach that is best for swimming. Its beautiful natural coral reefs are best for snorkeling. Located just outside the capital city of Gustavia, the tiny village of St. Jean has several shopping plazas, boutiques, and restaurants. Guests can stay in luxury villas on the hillside overlooking the beautiful St. Jean Beach.

3. The Flamands Beach is the widest in St. Barts. It is one of the few beaches in St. Barts that has shade, so visitors need not worry about bringing their umbrellas. When the sea is calm, the Flamands Beach is excellent for swimming. Surfers can also enjoy its big waves when the conditions are right.

An experienced manager from New York, Geoffrey J. “Geoff” Block contributes to many nonprofit organizations. Alongside his wife, Geoff Block volunteers for the Hungry Hearts Foundation (HHF). The HHF provides meals to schoolchildren, alongside preexisting school lunch programs.

Located in the Lake Stevens, Washington, area, a local elementary school teacher created the charity that would become the Hungry Hearts Foundation in 2010. After hearing about how one of her students lacked enough food over winter break, Tammie Enders, alongside a colleague, packed bags of food for that student. Enders’ efforts created a packed lunch program at Glenwood Elementary School, then called Lil’ Hungry Hearts.

In September 2012, the Hungry Hearts Foundation began serving all 10 schools in the Lake Stevens School District. Using grants from local businesses, in July 2018, HHF expanded its packing capacity by leasing a new studio. In September 2019, HHF began a weekly lunch program that gradually expanded throughout the year, until it served more than 200 students i. Multiple local and regional news outlets have recognized the HHF for its efforts.
