Requesting Support from the Lowcountry Strong Foundation

Lowcountry Strong Foundation

An investment professional previously with Crown Growth Partners, Geoff Block draws on his extensive investment experience to oversee RLB Squared, a real estate investment and development company. In addition to this, Geoff Block oversees the Lowcountry Strong Foundation, a charitable organization that he started.

The Lowcountry Strong Foundation works to improve the lives of families and individuals living within Jasper and Beaufort Counties. Focusing on helping families affected by Hurricane Matthew, the organization offers grant support to local nonprofits that provide medical, shelter, and food services.

Individuals can also request assistance from the foundation as long as they are full-time residents of Jasper or Beaufort Counties and have a combined annual of income of less than $85,000. Eligible applicants must demonstrate that they have a critical financial need resulting from significant damage that affected their primary residence or resources.

All qualified individuals must submit an application and the necessary documentation to the Lowcountry Strong Foundation before they can be considered for assistance. Submitted applications are reviewed by the Foundation’s advisory board. Selected applicants may receive support up to $15,000 and any assistance that is offered is paid directly to the necessary vendors or nonprofit organizations that are providing necessary services.
