The recipient of a bachelor’s degree in business from Tulane University, Geoff Block formerly served as an executive with Crown Growth Partners before he joined South Carolina’s RLB Squared, LLC, as a manager in 2013. Away from work, Geoff Block is a passionate fan of the National Football League (NFL) New York Giants.

The Giants missed the playoffs in 2017 for the fifth time in the past six seasons and finished with their lowest win total (3) since the 1983 season. The team fired head coach Ben McAdoo in December after a 2-10 start to the season and replaced him on an interim basis with defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo. However, in January, the Giants secured a permanent replacement for McAdoo by hiring former Minnesota Vikings offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur.

Shurmur, 52, spent the past two seasons in Minnesota, and last year coached the team’s offense to a 10th-place finish in scoring (23.9 points per game) and a seventh-place finish in rushing yardage (122.3 yards per game). Shurmur has additional NFL coaching experience with the Philadelphia Eagles and Cleveland Browns, serving as Browns head coach from 2011 to 2012. He also coached at the college level at Michigan State and Stanford.
